About Palo Alto

Palo Alto is a city of scientists and artists. It makes an excellent place for singles, young people, and relocating professionals. The people of Palo Alto see themselves as belonging to a community of diversity.  The scenery is spectacular, schools are academically comprehensive, and the residents are welcoming.

Palo Alto is a biker’s paradise; however, some errands may require you to walk or prefer public transit. Everyone supports environmental protection. You have shopping centers, major businesses, churches, creeks, banks, schools, parks, hotels, nightlife, health and fitness, and tourist attractions. The bordering cities are Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Stanford, Portola Valley, Menlo Park, and Mountain View.

The cost of living may not be the lowest, but the positives make it all worthwhile.

People typically prefer properties with larger lots, two-car garages, swimming pools, modular/ gourmet kitchens, rental properties, and solar systems amenities. You can find these; however, it is a competitive market, and properties sell quickly. Palo Alto has older homes including Craftsman, Colonials & Eichler style homes, but much of the stock in Palo Alto today is of California mid-century, middle-class suburbia style.
